They had made the coin because the marschalk Fran?ois-Henri de Montmorency-Bouteville had made a victory at the count of Piney-Luxembourg in the war between France and the repulic. Fran?ois-Henri had won from the Enlish/Spanish/republic troops of Willem III in July 1690 in Fleurs, august 1692 in Steinkerken and in July 1693 in Neerwinden. With the coin they had made some fireback's like this model.
